Oval saunas are popular because of their medium-small size. Therefore, these are perfect for owners of a smaller yard.

Barrel sauna

Tynnyrrisaunat is designed with efficiency in mind. The barrel design takes up less floor space and due to its cylindrical shape, its internal volume is smaller, which means faster heating time.

Enjoy an effortless sauna experience with an electric heater.

In certain circumstances, an electric stove is the perfect solution. For example, in areas where smoking is prohibited or firewood is not accessible.

Another advantage is that it takes no time to light the sauna fire, you don’t have to worry about throwing extra wood into the stove, and the best thing is that you can adjust the degrees to the temperature you want.

What about steam? Do not worry. Like wood-burning stoves, most electric stoves have stone stoves, so you can throw a steamer. And don’t forget the fire made of birch branches, spinning in the snow or jumping into the lake – Your next Saturday night can’t get any better.

There are several different sizes of the larger sauna model and thus the possibility to add additional features. Let’s find out what building a backyard sauna can include.

Outdoor sauna in the changing room

Some units have a small and comfortable dressing room in front of the sauna, which is a highly recommended addition.

The larger units have few benches and lots of shelves, so guests can leave their clothes, bathrobes, slippers and towels before entering the courtyard sauna.

Separating the outside door from the sauna room has another small advantage – a small 1-2 meter changing room helps keep the heat in the sauna better.

You can add a terrace or a porch around the model you choose.

Durable wood has been used in the structure and material to keep maintenance to a minimum. Just add a little oil every 2 years.

The best thing about a porch is that you can place benches or steps around your model to give it a real sauna feel. 

We sell many wooden benches that you can combine with the same type of wood as the sauna, giving the feeling of a complete package.

Outdoor sauna package – Do it yourself project for difficult places

All of our outdoor saunas are mainly available fully assembled at the factory. However, if you enjoy doing a DIY project or want to install a sauna in a difficult place, a sauna installation kit package may be the best choice.

Ready-to-assemble outdoor sauna kit sets contain all the necessary parts in small models. Assembly can take 1-2 days depending on the size of the sauna and the number of participants (we recommend a builder for this job or hire us).

Sauna packages are convenient for gardens with narrow paths or mountainous areas with narrow roads (areas inaccessible to large trucks) where such flat packages can be disassembled and moved piece by piece.
